In 1969, Dempsey L. Bradley, 34 years old and married with 4 small children, made the decision to start his own company. While working for another HVAC company Mr. Bradley had developed good relationships with many architects and engineers in this area. They were confident in his ability to provide a good job with quality work. So, with a second-hand truck, a good reputation, a wife willing to work in the office, and much prayer, he formed Bradley Mechanical Company.
He started the business with one thing in mind, “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.” His interests at the time were mainly in new construction, and his first two jobs were additions to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and Kingsland Baptist Church.
Both of his boys, Brad and Keith, worked in the summers from 14 years old through high school. However, Brad decided he wanted to stay with the company while Keith pursued other endeavors.
In the year 2000, Bradley Mechanical became a corporation with three members. Dempsey L. Bradley, Sr., Gayle G. Bradley, and Dempsey L. (Brad) Bradley, Jr.
At this time, Brad began managing the business and showing interest more in the residential line of work. As the company began to grow, Brad’s wife, Sue, became the next family member to join the team.
Now, in 2013, with Mr. Bradley’s original desire to provide top quality work, the company has grown to 28 employees, holds weekly training sessions, and still has a strong desire to provide the best for all our customers.
Bradley Mechanical is a true performance-based HVAC company. This means your heating and air conditioning system will deliver the highest level of performance and efficiency possible after we work on it. According to Energy Star, 95% of all HVAC equipment installed does not run at the efficiency level it’s designed for. We take the whole-house approach, which means the equipment, the duct system, and thermal envelope of the home are taken into consideration. It’s a three-legged stool; all three must be right to reach peak performance.
Customer service is our number one priority. Our customer satisfaction has been ranked in the top two percent in North America for the last 10 years. While other companies have come and gone, Bradley Mechanical is consistently growing, setting the standards.
