Why should I use a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater instead of a standard hot water heater?

Tankless heaters cost more upfront than regular heaters but offer better value. They last longer and offer energy savings that quickly repay the cost back into your energy and water bills.

Can you put tankless water heaters outside?

Can you put tankless water heaters outside? You can, but we do not recommend it. The Rinnai itself is fine outside and will never freeze unless power is lost (rated to 40 below). We do not recommend putting the tankless heater outside mainly because the water pipes feeding the Rinnai can freeze and prevent operation. Tankless water heaters are about the size of a standard piece of carry-on luggage. You’ll save 16 cubic feet when you switch from a traditional heater.
